We appreciate your interest in becoming a reading mentor! Through weekly 45-minute reading sessions via our reading app, you will make a valuable contribution to society. You'll be amazed at how quickly your "reading child" progresses, as the 1:1 reading situation is particularly effective in promoting reading skills while increasing the child's cognitive performance. What's more, the joint meetings will be a lot of fun!

Select a date for a get-to-know/onboarding event where we can get to know each other and find out if the volunteer position of "reading mentor" is a good fit for you.
Request a police clearance certificate and submit it to us.
They receive access data, a comprehensive introduction to the reading app and a guide for reading mentors.
Get to know your reading child and make an initial appointment together for weekly reading sessions.
And then you're off - reading, playing and having fun with your reading child.
During the entire term, our team will support you reliably and competently.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting reading among children and youth in conjunction with volunteer reading mentors.
We aim to strengthen the reading skills of children and young people, awaken their enjoyment of reading, and promote their language development. This is intended to promote equality of opportunity and education in Germany.
We work closely with schools, companies, volunteer reading mentors and scientific institutions to get as many children and young people in Germany as possible excited about reading.
